NEWS SportFit Lab to open at Worldgate Sport & Health -- We will be moving our SportFit Lab, with all the great testing and coaching services, to Worldgate Sport & Health in Herndon, VA. Stay tuned for our grand opening in July! Worldgate will afford us the use of full health club facilities, in addition to our own advanced testing and assessment capabilities.
Beth Baumgarten 10th in Eagleman 70.3 Ironman Triathlon - Beth raced in the Eagleman Triathlon in Cambridge, MD on Sunday June 14th. With a personal best in the 1.2-mi. swim, Beth completed the 70-mile course in 5:42, bettering her previous half-ironman time by 18 minutes -- YOU GO GIRL! Beth earned 10th-place age-group honors in a field containing some of the top-ranked triathletes in the country. Once again, however, she lost to #1 pro Terenzo Bozzone of New Zealand ;-) Kudos Beth!!
Yes, you read that right -- it's now BETH BAUMGARTEN. We did the deed and got married last week in New York City, with close family attending and a road-cycling judge presiding! Of course, this won't change our training or commitment to scientific testing and coaching -- just make it a permanent joint effort.
